POLICIES/RULES

Thank you for choosing Canine New England (“CNE”). Since we share our space, please respect our neighbors, our facility, and other clients by complying with the policies below.  If you have questions about any of these policies or rules, please contact us.

Overall Policies

  • Owners must have full control of dog(s) at all times, within the facility and parking lot

  • NO flexi-leads (extendable leashes), pinch, choke or electronic collars

  • Dog must be up to date on all vaccinations, unless medically excused

  • Please make us aware if your dog has aggression issues with people or other dogs in advance

  • Females in heat cannot attend events/trialing

  • Smoking in the facility is prohibited 

  • Payment is due at the time of the appointment/class; we accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards

  • Please pick up after your dogs!  We have 2 potty stations at the front of the building with complimentary poop bags.  

  • Keep your dog off the neighboring business properties – there is a sidewalk leading to a dead end cul-de-sac for more walking.

Pool Policies

  • Do not feed your dog within at least 4 hours of swimming & be sure to potty your dog before any swim sessions   

  • Please brush your dog before coming to swim

  • No one under 18 years old allowed in the pool; owners assisting in the pool do so at their own risk

  • If your dog is sick or has loose stool, please do not attend swim sessions

  • In the event your dog has a bowel movement in the pool, we reserve the right to charge a fee of $200 

Field Policies

  • In the event your dog has a bowel movement or urinates on the field, we reserve the right to charge a fee of $20

  • Please no “crumbly” treats & take out any cookies or treats you brings in

  • No excessive throwing treats or cookies on the turf 

  • Clean shoes only.  Athletic shoes please.

  • Dogs must be leashed or crated and under owner’s control at all times – entering/exiting the agility space

  • Please be respectful of the turf, equipment and other students training.  A positive experience for you and your dog is our first priority

Class Policies

  • Payment is due at the time of registration.  Your spot will not be held until payment is made.

  • You are responsible for making it to your scheduled class.  If you miss a class, there are no refunds {and make-ups for any missed classes are at the discretion of the instructor.}

  • On line "enrollments" specifically state the length of time for each class

Cancellation Policy

We require a minimum of 24-hour notice if you cancel your appointment.  Late fees will be charged according to our Waiver/Policy form.

Refunds

  • Customer requested refunds for pre-paid packages will be given at CNE’s discretion. A $25.00 processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

  • There will be a $35.00 charge for checks submitted with insufficient funds.

Weather

In the event of extreme weather (snow, ice, heat, etc), Canine New England will make a decision to open, or remain open, as soon as possible.  We will communicate closures via phone or email (if you are scheduled for an appointment or class that day) or affiliated FaceBook pages.  Any classes CNE cancels due to weather will be added to the end of the current class series.  If CNE doesn't close and you decide not to come to your class or appointment, then a make up will not be provided  (classes) or a late cancellation fee of $25 will be charged (appointments).
